i can say that i had live the fullest in the year 2009..
had a better time management on my studies,
spend more time with friends,
dedicated more of my time to my religion.

but sadly,
this year also been a sad year for me and my church..
as some of church members passed away..
but i know that they are now with God in heaven,
so i should be happy that they live in pain-free place..

..my 2010 resolution..
enjoy my time in Australia,
meet new people and make new friends in Australia,
work hard for my new semester..
hopefully,

i read an interesting article in Dec issue of Reader's Digest and would like to share with you guys..

apparently, top situation for inspiration is when in
(1) shower, bath, bathroom 57%

researchers suggest that this is because all the top places offer the opportunity for relaxation, where the primary activity isn't thinking about the problem..
ironically, no one nominated their workplace, with it's deadlines and interruptions, the office 'doesn't allow for the creative process' >.<

on the 1st day of Christmas~~

greetings~~
i had a wonderful xmas time and i'm sure all my friends are the same, as i can see quite a lot of nice photos being uploaded in Fb and blog.. =)

on the 1st day of xmas,

i was in church with family, had dinner together with brothers and sisters and sing some Christmas songs ..

on the 2nd of xmas,

i was in Singapore with my sis..
Singapore has changed a lot, and it's a constantly developing country, every time when i been there, it has a new buildings coming up..
and this time, it has two buildings coming up--> Casino and Universal Studio

so
when is the last time u been in Singapore?
if it's more than 2 years, i suggest that u can wait for another 1 year and go, because Casino and Universal Studio is open on next year. exact date not sure, but it's around April and May.. But, they open phase by phase, so that's y go on 2011 it's better.. >.<

stop by at uncle house, and he bring us to Orchard Road to have lunch..
ever heard a japanese ramen shop name Ippudo??
according to my aunt, it's a very famous restaurant in Japan, and it has only two branches outside Japan.
one's in NY, the oth's in Singapore..


the food?? erm, it's average..but it's nice to try out since it has only 1 restaurant here in Asean

if you ask me where to shop in Singapore, it must be Orchard Rd..
Orchard Rd is a Must-Go place in Singapore,
it's beyond recognition..
and now, there are 3 new malls, Ion, Orchard Centre and 313
spend the whole day at there cuz we wanted to see the xmas light..


the 1st place we went in Orchard Rd is the Roof Garden.. if m not mistaken, it's in the roof top of 313 shopping mall..

on the 3rd day of xmas

went to Singapre Flyer.. it's the big giant Ferris Wheel.. the whole journey takes approximately 30mins.. and it costs S$29.50
but if u'r tourist and fly by SIA, u got 20% discount..
and, in the airport there got a booklet about Singapore tourist attraction, u can use the coupon and get 15% discount.. =)

after Singapore Flyer,
we head to Vivo City..
it's nearby Sentosa Island, in which Universal Studio is also located at there..

manage to see a cruise, it's either embark, or disembarking passenger.. ^.^

at night we went to Night Safari..
starts at 730pm-1200am
we arrive at 8pm, and it begin to have a long queue on ticket counter as well as entrance there..
we waited about n hour before we can go in..
but it's worth the wait.. hehehe..

on the 4th day of xmas (last day in Singapore)

me and sis decided to have a food trip..
nth particular in that day, just that my sis says it's not enough to eat at 2 food courts, and she wanted to go further neighborhood to eat again.. aiyo.. but i refuse.. hehehe..

this trip, we used up about S$600-S$700.. fyi, conversion rate is 2.5..

*special thanks to my youngest uncle and his family, for letting us to stays at his house,
paying all the meals for us,
paying all the entrance fees for us,
direct us the way to take mrt and busses,
allow us to use their EZlink card (sort of like Touch n Go)
and
fetching us from and to Singapore Airport..

going to church, catching up with families and friends..

half emo post

nope,
it's not Caulfield Campus who offer me a place,
it's Berwick Campus....
(for those who don't know the diff: Caulfield campus is in town, and it's bigger compare with Berwick Campus, which is situated in suburban)


i'm kinda disappointed because i really thought i can get a place in Caulfield..
i'm very pleased with my this sem's result, but it's just not good enough for them to offer me a place to study there..
well, the person should blame is me~~as my first sem result is REALLY BAD, so it sought of pull down my GPA and average marks.. sad~~ =(

nevertheless, i still happy i can transfer to Australia,
as frankly, i didn't apply for Berwick transfer as i told myself i must do well and get into Caulfield, but in the end, i still send in the application letter last last last minute (erm, it's like 2 hours before the dateline.. >.<)

parents reaction : they don't know the difference between these campuses, so as long as i can go oversea, they''re very happy... ^.^
but they told me that i shouldn't try to look and magnify the differences btw these 2 campuses, as i go there is study, not examining the campus.. and... it's just 1.5 years~~

so what i'm doing now is~~
-start to look for accommodation, as i thought i'll be going to Caulfield, all the places i look into is around Caulfield. now me need to look around Berwick
adv: Berwick room rate is cheaper than Caulfield. Berwick is about $150 PW while Caulfield is $210 PW per single room..


HUGE thanks to my dad,
i know he can feel the $$ pressure once i going to Australia next Feb, he keeps telling me "don't try to save the food money, eat more, and find a comfortable place to stay, don't worry about the rental rates...and must go around Berwick even though it's a small place, it might be a nice place... like those days when i was in Texas Tech,~~bla bla bla"

but it's always nice to hear about what my parents did when they're uni~~ =)

and HIM,
as He not just listen to my prayer, but answer it..


p/s: it's almost xmas, i should plan sth to do for my xmas~~

Jacy's birthday trip: Bkt Tinggi & Genting~~

Jacy's 21st birthday, and she invites us to her birthday trip~~2D1N in Genting..
meet up WaiHorng and KaiSiang then 3of us, depart to Genting..
Jacy and others (7 of her friends) are meeting up in Titiwangsa and go by bus >.<

on the way to Genting, WaiHorng suggests to go Bkt Tinggi since it's on the way and also while waiting JC to check in to Ria's Apartment..

here we are, in Bkt Tinggi..before we get to go in, everyone needs to pay RM10.. but, i don't recall going to here need to pay RM 10~~~ probably last time i went is with parents and during graduation, so maybe included but i don't know.. hehehe..

went to First World Plaza to grab some food, while Jacy and her friends went for theme park, 3 of us head back to apartment to have some rest..

after dinner, we all hang around First World
again, 3 of us go to Coffee Bean to 'coffee talk'

went back apartment at 2AM
play Uno and Mahjong~~

bedtime is about 530, while those Muslim wake up and pray.. hahaha..

i have to admit that i spend most of the time with the 3 guys and Jacy is mostly with her friends, once all of us together,
it's a playtime~~ =)

it's just fun to be with friends to play and chat~~ too bad Melissa isn't here, i'm sure there'll be more fun =)

Rubik cube

i'm sure everyone is aware of this game--Rubik cube
my dad bought the cube last Tuesday and was hoping that we can solve together..
lucky me, i already download from youtube about how to solve Rubik cube.. =)
but in the end, i'm the one who is 'addicted' to it as my dad ask me to teach him once i master it.. hehehe

so i watch the video again and again..
finally, i was able to solve the first layer, but i was not able to continue it as my first layer arrangement is actually wrong.. =(
when i was about to give up, my cousin brother who come and visit me last friday, solved the cube~~!!!

i also just realize that this cube is one of the hottest game in his secondary school and scout even got competition on who is the fastest on solving this rubik cube.. -.-lll
and~~~my this cousin brother only took 27sec to SOLVE IT...
wwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaoooooooooo..........


so i ask him to teach me..
fyi, some people are good in demonstrating but poor in explaining
and my cousin is the one.. =)
so i was watching him solve it step by step
than he'll scramble it back to the place, and my turn to solve it..
in the end, i still dunno how to solve it (>.<) but was able to solve all except the last layer~~


so i continue the rest of the step by watching the video and start memorize the formula..
